We decided to try Finest City Transportation to get to and from LAX for our trip to Paris. We thought about the different options from Rancho Santa Fe to LAX to Paris.  1. Fly San Diego to LAX to Paris (two hours early down to San Diego, then fly, connect, change planes, ... - not a great option. 2. Drive to LAX and leave our car somewhere for a week - ugh - 2 hours each way on the freeways, especially when we return after an 11-hour flight, plus dealing with luggage and remote parking shuttles. 3. Let someone else drive us directly to the terminal, drop and pick up our luggage, and drive us home - this seemed like the best option. This worked out great. Our first driver - Johnathan - was the best.  He showed up exactly on the scheduled time to depart our house, drove safely and effectively through traffic, and dropped us and our luggage right in front of the International Terminal at LAX.  Very nice guy and we enjoyed chatting with him on the way up. Our second driver also arrived right on time at the LAX terminal and got us home safely, but was a bit more aggressive than we would have preferred.  He did fine navigating through the worst of LA traffic (departing LAX for San Diego right at 5 PM), but he might have felt pressured to get us home quickly after the long and slow slog out of the LA traffic. I was a little concerned about the airport pickup, as flights can get delayed and it is hard to estimate how long from "arrival" until you clear customs and immigration with your luggage.  Finest City reassured us that they would monitor the flight schedule and would be there waiting when we emerged from the terminal - and they were. Both ways, the cars were new clean Lincoln Navigator SUVs - plenty of room and very comfortable for the 2-hour trips. I had a wonderful experience using Finest City while in San Diego. I used this company for two airport runs while in San Diego and the experience was outstanding. It was quick and easy to book. When I need reliable transportation to and from the airport, Finest City Transportation is my first and only choice. I first booked with them a couple of years ago after reading all the positive reviews, and I’ve never looked back. I just booked another trip with them, and the process was a breeze. As a busy mom, finding a company that provides car seats and offers reliable, luxurious service is a game changer (for those who travel with kids, you know how it can be). It’s so nice to rely on them. They’re prompt with bookings, show up on time, and always assist with packing up the car and making sure we’re all settled. When it comes to airport pickup, you feel like a VIP as your black car (or in our case, SUV) pulls up to greet you just minutes after your bags arrive. The whole process is seamless, and it’s my preferred way to come home after a long travel day with the kids. Especially for those flights back from Hawaii that get in late, it’s so nice to have a car ready and waiting instead of gambling on a rideshare option. We use this company when we need reliable rides to and from the SD International Airport. I don't remember all of the driver's names, but we are always extremely pleased. They are professional and arrive early so it is always a no-stress situation. Today we were chauffered by OT, who found us in minutes at a very crowded airport. Wow!!!
